After our quite epic trip of the kong lor caves, we moved onto the city of Pakse. Due to various roads being... Well not roads anymore we had to stay for 2 nights. We had curry and karaoke nights with the tour group and I sang wonderwall by oasis, much to the displeasure of the locals! We visited a couple of stunning waterfalls and I got soaked. We also had a tour by some crazy Dutch guy who took us around some coffee fields, talked about coffee, drank some... You get the jist... Then onto Don Det, a part of the '4000' islands! This was to be the last full day in Laos. We caught the bus to the border, stepped over a fence and that was it, I was back in Thailand! We then caught the overnight train from Ratchathani to Bangkok, and from there I caught a flight back to Krabi! Now for two weeks of relaxation in the south islands!
