Fascinating postcards from Columbia......hope you don't get the shock of your lives if you actually meet any guerrillas that you keep joking about. Latest trend in the UK is dogknapping! Really enjoy seeing the up to date photos. Keep the action ones coming. Glad to hear you're on diets.....giving half your food to beggars. When will you get to travel on trains through the Andes?

Hey Ant and Embles!!! (Not sure if I've met you Bree...)
My jaw dropped as Tobes pointed me to this fantastic website, I've now itchy feet but my roots are well developed here especially we're preparing for Jasper's first birthday on Saturday with a signing clown and around 50 visitors!
There's more to than that - Louise's rosy pregnant and the baby girl's due to join us anytime this week, the babe's fully engaged, no worries I will post a message to alert you when the new bubba's joined the family! I've lost track with you Embles but real pleased you're globetrotting - Actually shared my observation with Tobes that I cannot simply imagine you following the 9-5 thingy as I rate you as a wild boy full of excitement and there's much more countries for you to explore!
Let's close here so you can carry on finding out what's lying round the corner!
Hugs and love

From Papa (E´s Dad): a great post-card from Anthony in Bogota! Full of news - keep them rolling (the post-cards). Heading south? Where´s your next post-card coming from - Equador? Can´t wait. Do you have to go to the Museo del Oro for cash? It sounds like one big cash machine. We were discussing today how much ransome money we´d be prepared to pay. That, apparently, is the way that the rebels in the south, earn their living. But usually the kidnapped are from monied international companies, so you´d better tell the kidnappers - if and when it happens to you - that your Dads and Mums are unemployed Scots. 5 beers drunk before Emlyn boarded a long distance bus? Hope the bus was equipped with all the usual conveniences, not just a bar. I thought "Confused" was a bit unkind. The photo was very impressive AND signified South America to most of us, which is more or less what you intended, wasn´t it? Sorry about leaving the charger for Emlyn´s camera behind. Your first batch of souvenir photos were so good and told us often more than words can tell - a few from the bar where you ran into the señoritas would have been most revealing). You may yet find one in a big capital city (where Canon has a warehouse of spare parts and bits and pieces). If you were likely to know where you are going to be two weeks from now, we could post you a replacement charger to be picked up at the "poste-restante" counter in a head post-office (Quito, La Paz, Lima?). I know that your individual budgets must already be pretty well stretched to the limit with nothing left for luxuries but I wondered if you´d explored the possibility of pooling resources to pick up a low-cost digital that has no refinements but would enable you to keep up the flow of souvenir photos. Apart from entertaining your fan club, you could format your memory card after sending what you´ve taken and know that the photos you´d sent are safe and waiting for you when you get back?
And how about your relies meeting up in Puerto Banus to chat about the South America trio´s adventures? I hear that the Gals (Anthony´s aunts and granny) are down here in Marbella soaking up the sun with us - and clubbing too. E´s Dad and Mum are also in Puerto Banus (Marbella) and keen to go clubbing. Could they phone up for a date, at 0032 479 808 565 ? The first and second drink is on us. Over-fifties only drink orange juice don´t they?

Hello Breé & boys! I bet, you won't be expecting a message from me! (Emlyn, this is gonna be the 1st time I say that to you this & it took the guts out of me to say that...), all of you, I envy you! I can tell that you're having a blast, laughing your heads off @ us while we're in Miserable England!! The weather was horrible last night!! There was a storm here (millions of lightening)!! Erm, am I sad for updating the weather here?? Whatever! Anyways, Anthony, you're SO brave for holding the anaconda!! If I was in your shoes, lord knows what my reaction would be!! Bree, you look good on the boat!! :) Emlyn... nice eyebrow(!) Haha!! I've got to go now! I'll keep you posted soon!! Seeta Xx (Nice photos by the way!)
Emlyn
guys, thank you for all ur msgs! it's nice to hear what u guys re up to! for Bree's mama, dont worry abt Bree, she's in safe hands :-)
as for "confused" (put ur name next time!) u re right, it is not the right postcard. there were only three different poctcards of Colombia for us to choose from. so we chose the most suitable postcard from the list of different South American countries. that postcard u were referring, it IS from Rio de Janiero, but it looked the most similar than the other ones... we tried to put a picture we took of the city as a postcard, but couldnt find how to do it... will update the diary very soon!

Confused
why do you have a photo of the cable car on sugar loaf mountain in rio as your post card from columbia? come on, silly error!
