After hiring a couple of snorkels and fins in Puerto Ayora, we returned to Las Grietas to swim with some more fish. Unfortunately we had left it a tad late in the morning and there were already a large number of tour groups swimming (and teaching others how to swim in life jackets) making noise and scaring all of the wildlife away. We left the hostel quite early today (we changed hostels a couple of days ago to a place called 'Miconia') and took a water taxi across to Las Grietas - a swimming hole between a canyon. Because we were there so early, there was only one other person there when we arrived, and more arriving when we left. It was a pretty spot with heaps of giant fishes swimming around. Jeremy's still feeling quite ill, so I spent the morning walking around Puerto Ayora while he lay in bed.
