Since our bus was to leave at 2pm, we had very limited time between check out at 10am and departure time to do anything. But somehow we fit a small adventure in. Firstly we needed bus food, so we visited the supermarket and found a great deal - 35 pesos for 12 pastries, and some nuts. Next we caved in and returned to a boutique wine store to buy waiter's friends that were ridiculously orange and inscribed with 'Mendoza Argentina' on them - a talking point for work. The final stop was back to the hostel to pick up our bags and to begin the 2km walk to the bus terminal where we boarded the 15 hour bus and did nothing but read, knit, and watch Inside Out, and sleep.
