Found out today that yesterday was the kings 60th year on the throne. Everyone loves him here, not like our royalty! There was fireworks at 8 o'clock, and everyone wears a yellow t-shirt, as that's the colour for royalty here. Today was an action packed day. We were picked up at 10 o'clock for a tour of the city. First entry from abroad. The flight was comfortable but very boring. Watched a film called the 3 Burials of Melquiades Estrada. Was alright I guess. It's far too hot for my liking. Humid everywhere you go. Had a nice meal outdoors. The crispy duck was nice. Sat at the hostel just now getting ready to watch the kick off of the World Cup. Here's where the fun begins. Time for a first journal entry. We've had a great day in London today. We've been in Richmond for most of the day, going on a sight seeing boat, and then sitting in the park in the scorching heat for hours. Currently sat at the airport waiting for the gate to open, and the nerves are starting to set in. I'll try upload some photo's of todays events when I can.
