Riiiight!! Ok, so i said i would do this so now i am because it is taking about 50 millions hours to upload all my pictures from hong kong.

We flew in and heading to out hotel (the YMCA) which was all very good and well but, Hong Kong has 4 YMCA's, so you can imagine our annoyance when we realised we got to the wrong one, but... being 12 hours of flying ands a bit jet lagged, it was a reasonably funny experience!

We got into a taxi, and got out very quick indeed! The taxi guy was lovely but when we said where we wanted to go, he said it would be alot cheaper to get the MTR (underground) so .. we did. People look at you there even if your NOT wearing a bag half your size, so i think we amused people!!

Our hotel was really plush, we wre careful not to get too used to it though!

Hong Kong is beautiful and it seems silly to say that something made out of cement and lights, and man made stuff is as breath taking as anything natural!

Our first day we went to ocean park on hong kong island, which is a zoo, theme park thing, with rides and animals. It was really great fun, espcailly the trip down from it as it was so high up, some of the roller coasters literally tipped you over the edge. It was nice to see trees and forest. SO ANYWAY, the cable car trip, one of many, was daunting very hiigh up and over sharp rocks and trees! After a much needed freshenup, we went to Tsui Wan Tsi!! im so glad i remembered that! And there were pubs and food etc, so we had a few then went back!

The Buddah!! what can i say, it was amazing, another dodgy cable car this time even more treturous than the first. we could see the buddah over the hill and from that distance it was aweinspiring, you can only imagine how beuatiful it is up close. The steps were a bit of a challenge! Totally breath taking, atttached to this area was a monestry with monks wandering about the place and beautiful colourful buildings iut was lovely. We could hear the monks chanting and it was like a massage with sound, it was beautiful. We nfelt very centred after that!!

That evening we had drinks again and met an old couple and chatted to them for a bit.

Devoting our last day to packing shopping and victoria peak.

Victoria peak was... AMAZING, again!! a tram up this time! hong kong is very hilly!! It overlooked the whole of hong kong island all lit up and beautiful, again i cant describe it but you'll have to see the pictures, which in now way justify its greaatness.

Bed early night, early flght!!

8hours on a plane... and....

BOOMM Were in OZ! We went for drinks last night, and sleep. its very flat here and a bit like england crossed with america!

In hongkong all of their buildings that are being worked on have bamboo for scafolding... its scary!
