We´ve had an incredibly busy few days here in San Cristobel, not to mention the horrendous bus ride which brought us here! It took 4 hours to get here from Palenque, and even though i don´t usually get motion sickness, even i felt nauseous - and some of the group were quite ill. Ok so we have finally arrived in Palenque, it took us a 9 hour bus ride yesterday but we made it!! Today we started off early for a trip to Palenque ruins and then onto the Agua Azul waterfalls so its been a really long day but so much to see. Wow...... Chichen Itza was stunning!! We had an early start as we left Cancun to make our way to the site. Its very touristy and commercialised after visiting other sites but it was still out of this world.
