Day 30: Lafayette Off to Lafayette with a stop over in Tupelo (Elvis's birth place) Started the day off by attending the Whitehill Missionary Baptist Church for their Sunday morning service.. The all black congregation were so friendly towards our small group. It was a great experience and I left feeling so good from all of the great music the quoir sang If only our church was like that, I'd go every week! We then headed across the road to Elvis' birthplace...

Day 29: Natchez Leave Clarkesdale for Natchez to see the Antebellum mansions. The group does a tour of Longwood Mansion which is afew hundred years old and massive, then we check into our hotel. Dinner is at a local resteraunt where we have some more southern cooking, fried of course. Surprisingly, I find myself missing grandmas's manja today.

Day 22: Clarksdale Leave Memphis sadly after getting home at 7.30am. I haven't slept a wink when we have to load up our luggage and leave for Clarksdale. The girls are stirring me about 'Lionel' and there is lots of laughter on the bus again today. We stop at Tunica to view some cotton fields and to take a photo of the Highway 61 Blues Museum. I think of Robert Johnson and the crossroads story. I can't believe I'm here after being a blues fan for so many year...

Day 27: Memphis Free day to explore. I sleep in (still feeling the effects of Nashville) then meet up with my room mate Sabine for a tour of The Gibson Factory. I'm in guitar heaven amongst the Les Paul's and special editions. We then go for a quick drink at BB Kings before indulging in Deep fried Strawberries at a local resteraunt. Day 26: Memphis Today, everyone on the bus was kept entertained with our stories from last night in Nashville. Everyone was in hysterics, as Jen kept doing her Leghorn impersonation of Russell "my pants are so tight" aswell as stirring me over kissing Brad, calling me a cougar lollll We left Nashville for Tennessee today, heading to Graceland!
