Day 34: Birmingham
Today we left New Orleans for Birminghan Alabama to visit the Civil Rights Museum.
The museum is fascinating and has been put together really well.
I'm glad I got to visit and see a part of history.
Most of it was quite sad about the segregation and mistreatment of black Americans.
At night we check into our final hotel and meet for dinner and complimentary drinks downstairs at 5.30pm.
As there is nothing else to do, a bunch of us head over the road to what has become a favourite store of mine- Walmart!
We get some last minute supplies then head back to the hotel for last drinks with the group before we hit the sack for the last time : (
