We arrived in San Antonio after a shorter drive (only 4 hours!) early afternoon. We had the afternoon to explore San Antonio in the 37 degree heat! I went to see the Alamo, walked the riverside route which was so pretty and walked around the city seeing the city hall, the cathedral and a cool market selling lots of Texan/Mexican themed things! I really loved San Antonio. It was such a relaxed city and especially loved the riverside where there were lots of restaurants, bars and little shops!
We have a very long drive tomorrow but the location will be amazing when we arrive as we are going to Carlsbad Caverns National Park. Two weeks today and I'll be on my flight home. It's scary how fast it has gone and I've loved every minute but I'm ready for home, all the home comforts and to see everyone back home!
