Today was one of our shorter drives - only 4 hours! We arrived in Memphis at our campsite, right beside Graceland, which after lunch we headed there! It's amazing just how much stuff there is of Elvis' stuff and things that we often throw away like receipts and old cheque books! We then drove to downtown Memphis, saw the sun studio where loads of famous artists have recorded songs and walked along Beale street, which is famous for its civil rights marches and where a lot of the blues singers performed. It was a little bit dodgy as Memphis isn't the safest place but it was nice to see such a historic place! We had ribs for dinner and were picked up in a pink limo! The rain has been pretty bad the past couple of days so we paid about $8 each to stay in a little cabin! Best decision in the world to stay in a bed again!!
Our next stop is New Orleans!
