Haha-did you notice the mistake in that first message? It posted before I realised! I am so cold I have 'snow on the brain'...a very rare condition brought on by lack of exposure to the warmth! X

Hello Sophie and Kie,
The latest photos are what I imagined the 'Lost' type paradise island to be like... but I didn't think about the lizards and spiders. I must admit the I'm not too sure about them crawling around my bedroom! The waterproof camera has come in handy and that is a good shot of Kie swimming underwater. A very good one of him in the sea too... a nice natural one. I'm jealous of the massage Sophie, that looked rather good and you are definitely looking very tanned now. I see that you also like sunsets like me... beautiful. Well off to town Christmas shopping now in the cold, damp, UK December weather...errgh! Think of us... not!! Love to you both, keep safe and take care xxx

Just seen your uploaded photis and once again they are excellent. You should consider framing those of the fishermen and their net, they are just amazing. Nice to see shots of the both of you, and your feet Sophie! New fetish? Both look slightly tanned or haven't you been in the sun much, haha. Sihanoukville looks idyllic, certainly a little paradise that we should all see. Well, enjoy the rest of your time there. As ever, love to you both and keep safe. xxxxxxx

Hi Kie and Soph, have just looked at the pics of Sihanoukville, Rabbit Islands and Kep, am I green with envy? yes I am.. Once again amazing pics it looks like paradise. Nice to see some pics with you both in them. I love the fishing boat pics. I don't know whether im more suprised at the size of the lizard, the size of the spider or the fact that Kie is wearing an Alice band ;) .. You have been to some lovely places as your pics clearly show but I don't think I would want to leave this area. I could defo spend day after day just lounging in those surroundings. Its still freezing cold here we have two or three layers of clothes on, but I guess that won't spoil your day will it? no I didn't think so. ha ha. Well, happy travelling, stay safe, Love to you both x x x

Have just looked at the Phnom Penh pics, have to say they are truely amazing. The temples are so ornate, the craftsmanship considering how long ago some of them were built is mind blowing and the colours are wonderful. Sophie you are getting to be a right little David Bailey, with your pics of the water lillies and the butterflies, they are just perfect. Kie you look like a little kid in a sweet shop in the pic of you surrounded by guns bet it was like virtual call of duty for you (without the swearing of course). Hope the bus journey you are taking on Sunday isnt to gruelling. Looking forward to the next chapter. Love to you both, stay safe xxxx

When I heard you were sunbathing and getting a tan on the beach in a place with limited electricity, I thought there would be lots of photos of a 'Lost' type setting. But again you have been seeing and doing different things such as the rifle range... I liked Kie's pose, as Dad says very Che Guevara. The combat top didn't seem to go with the skirt though Sophie! A beautiful temple and I loved the photos of the waterlilies and butterfly. Looking forward to speaking to you on skype... until then, lots of love and take care xxxx

Your blog was like a mini adventure! Spiders have never been your strong point, have they Sophie? But with Kie there why worryl............. Some really good shots again. The temples, or was it the museum, were beautiful. And the ones taken of the artefacts inside the museum were outstanding. Items from the 6th century looked fantastic. Not many photis of the both of you this time......shame. With the AK47 Kie looked like Che Guevara! And Sophie like a gangster's moll in combats. haha. Well enjoy yourselves in the toiling heat, as I'm sure you think of us battling the cold winds and snow just to get in to work. Love to you both and keep safe. xxxxxxxxxx

Sophie Faunch..... I thought when you went travelling our ongoing battle of 'Pinch punch' would go out the window, but ohhhhhhhh no, I bet your hand was trembling when it hovered over that send button at 8.24am your time, 3.24am ours this morning on 1st December 2010. Let the battle commence, bring on January 1st my hand will be hovering from the 29th for sure ha ha. On a less bitter that I lost note ;) We was wondering why you hadn't been online and thought that maybe with the area you are in being remote that it would have something to do with the connection. Will have a good chat when you move on to your next port of call. Dolf is hoping to catch up with you on Skype bless her, she could do with some cheering up after the news she received on Friday, but we all know her best buddy Kie can put a smile on her face, creep that he is. (Old golden 'B' aye Soph). I love him really.. Well glad you are both well and safe, catch you soon. Love you loads x x (even if you do cheat Soph)

Still reeling at the fact that some little Cambodian man let my son loose with an AK47 rifle. My goodness I bet he was in his element was he trying to find claymores?? ha ha .. Your visit to the killing fields sounds sad but amazing, I bet it was a real eye opener with all those sad stories of torture and degredation.. Think the Russian market is a must now Soph, after all those horific tales, Dr Sharon says retail therapy is defo on the cards ;) .. Stay safe, love to you both x x
