Malmo: This was just a little day trip I decided to do in the moment, I almost wish I had gone further to Gothenburg, but oh well, I can now say I have been in Sweden!
Malmo is a pretty little place, full of light and little town squares and nice parks and walkable avenues. Nothing too special about it, in that I could have easily just spent another day in Copenhagen and seen the same things. The Oresund bridge from Copenhagen was pretty impressive in itself, just the fact that I can cross a bridge and be in another country is something so foreign to me, it is such a novelty.
It was enjoyable just walking around the cobblestoned streets of malmo, it was sunny and bright, around Lilla Torg which is surrounded by a kind of medieval looking part of town, a few good op shops and ofcourse, my addiction, H & M. Had a squiz at Malmohus, and the royal apartments from the outside, and the Stadmuseum, a walk through a reallly pretty graveyard and a sit by a fountain, people watching is now a religion.
Next time, it will have to be Stockholm. And beyond. Until then, swedish meatballs and IKEA will have to do.
