This was a little 2hour stopover we did on the drive from Kanazawa to Nagoya, a little town that is a world heritage site, and a sight it was. It is one of the oldest places to go, the houses are just incredible to look at, with their grassy mossy roofs and wooden everything and cottage style. We went inside the largest house in the town, with about 4 levels and amazing old tools and farming things inside, a woodfire stove where you could sit around, it was actually so cold inside that house, and a Buddhist shrine aswell.
It was a perfect sunny day to admire these beautiful streets of houses and shops and cafes, munching on white bread buns filled with veggies and beef and onions and mushrooms, staring up at the homes and houses and snowy mountains surrounding us. Whats sights, what smells, what swell things I have been able to see because of dear Meg. She is our angel.
