Happy New Year Everybody! Hope everyone had a good time - let us know what you all got up to. We went to a club near to the hostel called "Black Betty's", it was about ten pounds for ticket but you got all the beer, wine and champagne you wanted between 1030 and 0030 so that was grande - we both have slightly sore heads today. It was really good last night, in the club there was a band playing - mostly like greenday and similar - i never noticed the band to begin with and kept thnking it was a good cd that was getting played - when emma pointed out the band i felt a bit daft. Today the temperature is really high - mid 30's - we went out for a walk but had to stop every 20 minutes to get a drink or go into any open shop for the cooler air. We are staying at the hostel till Monday 3rd then getting the train down to freemantle - we gonna stay there and go over to Rottnest Island for a day. We get train back to perth on Friday 7th, and catch our bus up to Coral Bay on Friday night, we getting bus at 8pm and it get into Coral Bay at 1:45pm next day - thats a long bus trip! We gonna work our way back down West coast spending a few days in each place - all hopefully near the beach - so should be good for the tan. We went to Scarborough beach on New Years eve during the day - its a nice beach but was quite windy so the sand was constantly being blown in your face. There was no shaded bits either, and as we were nrsing some sun-burn had to keep relitively covered up. Well gonna have to get another drink now, hope you all had good New Year - speak soon. Bonza!
