Alright people! Sydney has been pretty awesome - we arrived down here on wed afternoon - after an 18 hour bus trip from brisbane - i must admit the bus trips are not my favourite part of the travels - this time however we were equipt with our new $2 travel pillows - sleeping was still not that great but i was liking my pillow anyway. We stayed at the Palms hostel in the Kingscross area of Sydney - i asked the guy from hostel what Kingscross was like and he replied "well if u like hookers and drugs u'll have a great time" this turned out to be partly true - as there were several suspicious characters lurking around - however all in all it was ok. We mey my friends gary and aimee on wed night for a few drinks which was nice - on the thursdy we went into town to see the sights - darling harbour and the opera house and harbour bridge - all very nice landmarks - we took plenty photo's again. Emma's Aunt Joey's Uncle Danny met us on the Friday and Saturday - we met the rest of their family - all very nice people - and we were guided around the Sydney olympic village - the blue mountains which oz version of grand canyon - bondi beach and some other sights Really liked Sydney - at airport now and off to christchurch soon.
