Hello everybody! Thanks for all the gifts and birthday wishes - i've had a real good day. I bought a new pair of Nike Air Jordans and an Abercrombie & Fitch shirt - got the Fiji rugby top from the robertsons - cheers again - and a pair of jeans and some gambling chips from emma - this so i can practise for my next time in Vegas where i intend to win a hefty amount of cash! We went to Denny's for breakfast - i got the meatlovers breakfast and there was far to much food for one person to reasonably tackle - it included 3 pancakes with sausage, bacon and syrup and a platefull of hash-browns, eggs and ham - i did however give it my best go but shamefully had to throw in the towel! We then caught the ferry across to the Rock - or Alcatraz - which was cool - i kept thinking about the film the Rock and was worried that if i went into a cell the doors would slam shut - i would be trapped and a band of mercenaries would hold me hostage - thankfully this did not materialise - the prison was cool - the cells are tiny and solitary to be looks pretty dull. Al Capone - Machine Gun Kelly and the Bird Man all stayed there at some point - i would definately recommend anyone to visit it. We came back and emma went for a hair-cut - which is very nice - and i went for a few pints in an irish bar. We went for dinner at a place called the Dailly Grill just off Union Square - it was really nice and the food was great - kinda nice not to be eating fast-food for a change - it is about 3 days since i have had a burrito and i'm starting to miss them - might get one tmrw - ooooo i'm getting all excited now. Well all in all my birthday been cool - i hope you all enjoyed it too - i will be accepting gifts and cash for the next few months so if u did forget fear not - there still plenty of time to make that transaction.
