Friday 21st Sept

After we left the hotel, we decided to get the bus to Downtown instead of using a cab. Unfortunately we got confused on how the bus service system works so we decided to flag the cab down to take us straight to the station after wasting a hour of waiting for the bus!

We were only in Austin for the day so we tried to make the most of it while we were there.

Once we arrived to the station, the baggage were not allowed to be left while we can browse around without hassles. We were gutted but luckily we had a very nice staff who offered to hold it for us till our train at 7.10pm

At the downtown, we went to the Capitol of Texas and wandered around inside the building. The building was very nice with lots of old furnitures and pictures.

After that, we were hungry and hot so we thought to treat ourselves a meal. We went to a nice typical western restaurant which offered a all you can eat buffet. We were so pleased so we can stuff ourselves!!

We were very full up after 4 different courses and feeling like as we couldn't breathe! It was probably a good thing so we can save money for later! We wandered around Austin till we gave up... well more like ran out of places to visit. There wasn't much places to visit unless we have missed something! a

We walked back to the station, hoping that the train would be on time this time but unfortunately we found out that it had been delayed by 2 hours! All the train services we been on haven't been good for us! Once the train to Tucson arrived, we just went straight to sleep to recover!
