We have been having a lovely time in the desert - with Jesper and Bonnie Amstrup (and Caitlyn and Steen) from Fort St. John who are visiting Palm Springs with Bonnie's cousin Phyllis and family (Gord, Jana, and Carson). It is wonderful to chat about things from home, reminisce, and make new memories together here.As is usual when we are with the Amstrup's, we eat well and laugh a lot.This year we have been introduced to some crazy games by Phyllis and will have even more to reminisce and laugh about when we get together again - somewhere - sometime!

Jesper and Bonnie leave on Saturday and we will miss them very much.Bonnie has the horrendous responsibility of taking care of our mail and personal stuff at home while we are away - for which we can't thank her enough.You know you have a good friend who is willing to go the extra mile, but still feels guilty opening your mail. lol.

I will post pictures of our expedition to Joshua Tree National Park when I have better service.
