This morning we packed our motorhome up ready for our first long drive! We revisited a couple of places in Broome before driving 4 hrs to 80 mile beach. We had a couple of stops beside the road to change drivers and have lunch before reaching the turn off. It was then 10km along a very rough(well at least for motorhome) road to our campsite. The view as we drove over the last rise was beautiful and almost made up for the drive!

We had a relaxing afternoon around the motorhome and then when it cooled (it had got to 38 degrees we wandered down to the beach. We couldn't swim here but there were interesting shells and we saw some mullets in the water . The kids got bogged in clay like wet sand which was very amusing! We then went back to the platform to watch an amazing sunset.
