This this is whats going on in Queenstown in Queenstown. Rights folks the South East Asia trip is over the New Zealand has begun.....It was a dodgy last few days in Asia. Our last 3 nights in Chiang Mai were slightly spoilt as we both had serious food poisoning. This was after we had spent the day at a cooking course, cooking our own thai food- a slight coincidence I think. We did manage to go to an elephant camp where elephants had been rescued from a life of logging. We stroked a 10 day old baby elephant- cute. We then went on a long trek (it was about 2 hours but felt a long longer with cold sweats and a bubbling tum). We visited tribal villages which was amazing. We then went rafting down the river. Fortunatley all me and Smith had to do was stay on board while the other guys punted us down the river. Anyway we then had to get on the long flight to NZ from Chiang Mai via Bangkok and Sydney, both still feeling dodge. Not the nicest flight in the world....Anyway we made it and picked up our lovely pea green camper van from Christchurch Airport (she is called Tia). We are now making our way around the country with our end destination at Auckland. THis country has the most amazing views, we havn't seen anything like it. Sun kissed lakes with a back drop off ice capped mountains. We have even managed to try some local Pinot Noir (I know you are all suprised by this). Anyway best go, it's 10.47pm and it's dark out here so way past our camping bedtime. Keep posting messages on the board, we love em and we will keep you updated on the road trip. Pics coming soon!
Love you all- A and I ( C and E to you Bake) xx
p.s. we realise why there are so many poms residing out here but promise we will come home ( I think).
