Wednesday 12th March 2008 - Delhi

Well, its nearing the end of my great adventure.

Few Chennai to Delhi this morning and checked into an airport hotel for 2 nights, my flight back to London heathrow takes off on Friday14th March at 3am and arrives back in UK at 7.30am Froiday morning. Then have a flight from Gatwick to Plymouth and should be at my parents by 3pm..... back to normality (what is normality now?)

I have asked my mum to get the pasties warming and I know everything is back to normal when the following day Argyle get thrashed again and clock up 3 losses on the trot!

The 14 day Sunny South India trip was a real experience! I am sorry I havent written much in last few weeks but simply we never stopped! Got into hotels at 9pm and wake up call at 6am! I am sick of Veg curry and if I see a chicken I am gong to kill it with my bare hands and eat it raw!

Covered 4000 kms on rough roads - saw too many temples to list and also great cultural expereicne and sights of such poverty. I think this is still the real India and so different to Chennai , Mumbai and Delhi where the western IT cos and money is changing them so much. Also I guess Goa is like a mini european resort - great shame about that Scarlett teenager....it just goes to show that cultural differences are still very much alive here.

India has been a fitting finish to my world trip......so good I left it to last (Thanks Topper) and some sights and memories......

So, back to the UK.."back to life..back to reality" (Who sung that? answers onto mymessageboard!)...was it M People?

Hey....my best wishes to each and everyone of you who have read bits orr all my blog....I cant tell you how much I have appreciated it and the great messages on the messageboard as well as some individual e-mails too. This stuff has been unreal and kept me going at times when I was feeling a little low! Your all great friends and I wont forget the support.

So 2 days rest and then full throttle into the Uk and Jersey...next 2 challenges are....

1 - Find a job!

2 - Plan my next adventure - whihc I have decided is going to be a motorcyling tour of the old eastern european countries (ex USSR)...not till 2009 though!
