Hows it going all, First and foremost me and lucy are safe we didnt get hit by the javaniese earthqauke, so no need to worry!!(one of our surf instructors whole family is there tho and he cant get hold of them) its pretty bad. Besides that we have met loads of cool locals (surfers&punks). Its cool, we went to one of the surf instructors houses for food last night to celebrate another insturctors birthday,it was good fun and got to see how bali life really is. His mum cooked food for us and even his gran was there! After dinner we just sat around, talked and played guitar for a few hours. It was really nice. After that the guys drove us into town on their scooters and took us to a bar called bounty. We danced for a bit there but the music in the mainstreem clubs is so bad out here. They play songs like cottoneyed jo (not cool). We learnt that balinese people only have one beer called "bintang" means star and a local spirit called arak its made from rice,its really strong and tastes mad!they drink it alot here. Today we went to a place called "waterbolm" its bali's only waterpark it was soooo much fun,me and lucy turned into kids again!(well lucy did im always one!) we rode slides but also there were bands playing all day which was cool. We found a place too called "BreadTalk" its like fastfood but really intersting and tasty types of bread so we overdid it on the carbs!(lucy is freakin out!!) We went back to watch more bands this evening in the waterpark with Brazil(surf instructor) it was fun,the bands were really good mainly punk and grunge bands. Hopefully were going to see a volcano tomorrow or the day after with a guy called chimeng(means ganja in bali!) He's like a private tour guide and will give us a really good deal.
