We arrived in Taupo on Saturday and thought the town was nice with all its places to eat and drink. The holiday park we stayed in was the best so far too with great facilities, all new and clean etc. The only problem was the rain and the forecast looked even worse for Sunday when Phil was supposed to be skydiving so he cancelled ahead of time and will go back later in the summer when the weather is fine. So we went on another jetboat instead which was fun except that when you are going at that speed the rain really hurts your face! Then we spent the rest of the day on the camp internet before visiting Taupo's cinema in the evening.
