After the marathon flight from Melbourne, we arrive to the city of angels, Los Angeles. We are greeted with pouring rain, and the sun no where to be found, pretty much the same weather we had back in Melbourne.

After searching for the hotel and finding an entire street , all having our hotels name at the beginning we find the right one and check in. Showered and dry we take off for a captain cook around Hollywood.

Day two: Universal studios - Hollywood
Although it is still raining we go to
Universal studios and make the most of it. Was a good decision too as no one is there and we get free run of the park. The best part was the studio tour, where you go through a dark tunnel and then you put on your 3G glasses and your whack bang in the Middle of an epic battle between king king and t-Rex on the biggest 3D screens invite world. Very realistic! After that and a few rides and all the shows we head back to hollywood and see a bunch of celebrity's.. Although they all looked very waxy, they didn't say or move much. very rude, typical celebrities.

That night we go to see a NBA game between the LA Clippers and the Minnesota Timberwolves. Both teams being 14th and 15th on the ladder (last and 2nd last), it still was a awesome vibe and experience. The only bad thing, the staples centre have decided that Australian ID is not proof enough and were denied any drinks during the game..

The day we leave we take a tour of the stars homes in and around Hollywood hills and beverly hills. We get to see homes from tom cruise, christina agulira, to shirly temple and charlie chaplains houses, all of which are
Massive and beautiful. (& the last home where MJ died, his primary school oh & Brittney's home where she had her melt down)

After a slight hiccup and missing our scheduled flight to Las Vegas we make it to sin city and the fun begins....
