Early start again, but not quite as early as yesterday... And yet another long drive.... Tbh I'm getting a bit fed up of this stay for 1 night here then a whole day travelling.... Im on holiday ...:/ Especially since I'm getting pretty travel sick on all of these bloody winding roads.... Stopped off at a seal colony... Nice to see loads of seals... But if you ask me they are just very inefficient dogs.... They try and walk like them... But are just not very good ...

So it was a fresh early start this morning..... Shuttle at 7am to the ferry crossing... My god it was choppy chop chop..... Apparently the "cook straight" one of the worst crossings in the world... And I learned something about myself today... I get sea sick......and unfortunately the weather was awful, cloudy and rainy so didnt get to see the beautiful views that the journey is renound for....got to the otherside and drove to nelson.... Which is a little housing...

So we set off from the national park this morning....for the very very long drive to Wellington... After a 7am gym session.... Unsurprisingly noone else joined us.... Few people watched in amazement that we were actually doing it.... We stopped off at a coffee shop which had a beautiful log burning fire... It's a theme here in southern north island to have log fires everywhere.... Probs cos it gets so cold..... But it's beautiful... So a bacon butty and cuppa in ...

So this morning we set off from lake Taupo and via Waiotomo where some people went cave walking to see glow worms.... I didnt really fancy that, so spent an afternoon with a lovely coffee and sandwich relaxing, well not so relaxing when sorting out finances... But all is now well.... Kat and I got a little bored waiting for people so we decided to do some exercising on the grass verge.... Apparently people had never seen such a spectacle and were videoing and tak...

So this morning... After the most amazing sleep ever, I was feeling perky to the max.... With a swift breakfast inside me it was off to the geizers (pronounced here as guyzers... Not geezers eh eh eh mate, as in the uk) was a bit diss sprinted that they were encouraged to begin by a man made force, but all the same was beautiful... As we're the bubbling mud pools and the beautiful volcanic 3km walk we did around an active volcano... With some pretty splendid view...
