In ture Sarah style I started my adventure with the mother of all hangovers. NOTE TO SELF: Never drink 10 btls of Bulmers, a cocktail and your bestie mates wine before an 11.30 hour flight. The good things was the wine was free on the plane so i managed a few "hair of the dog" glasses! Once at the airport in Rio I had to sign a form to say I did not have the "Dreaded Swine Flu"... wonder want would happen if I put yes!! Hmmmm!I arrived at the hotel at 10.15pm (2.15am UK Time) absolutley shattered hoping for a nice cosy bed to sleep in for the night! Hahaha... I since learnt that the rough guide describes the hotel as 'Crusty, peeling and just on the acceptsble side of basic'... I was considering sleeping in the street!
