Yesterday it was 4th of July! For the occasion, Portland organized the Blues Festival and of course we went there with the Enstein family and Courtney, one of Adi's friends. It was crazy, I've never seen so many people, the weather was perfect and the music so good! We had a lot of fun! On the evening, there was the traditional fireworks of independance day, it was amazing, we all were like children... We had such a happy Independance day!

For my first breakfast at the Eintein's, Elena prepared us a real "american breakfast" of pancakes! After that, Adi and I walked around the neighborhood, and went to 23rd street to do some shopping, the shops here are very vintage and in style for Portland. When we returned, Josh and Elana prepared a great meal of couscous and we watched a movie in English of course. Sixtine

On the morning that Sixtine and I we were going to go hiking at Silver Falls with a few friends, my mother Elana cut her foot very badly! This meant that we were not to go hiking today and we were rather disappointed. However my friends Ellen and Mariah still decided to come over so that we could show Sixtine a little more of the beautiful city that is Portland.
