Last day in Paris . Went to Cafe Flore. Just like something out of a Renoir painting . Really nice . Went to the station to get instructions on getting to Orly airport- seemed simple enough. Went back to apartment and leisurely packed ready for new adventure. Before we left we took a video of our Paris apartment. Got to St Germaine Metro. Got cases down steps. Checked with information again, but this time most unhelpful lady information booth. Bought 2 tickets to,the airport (EUR 23) but couldn't get cases through ticket gate. Another commuter said that the lady in information could open gate to get us through, but of course this information lady couldn't do that!!!! She definitely qualified for the position of information person on the Paris Metro. Not at all helpful. Couldn't help us at all. On our last day we decided not to put up with this. A lovely young man carried our cases up to street level,we jumped in a taxi and we were at the Orly airport in no time at all.
