Woke up at 4am today to visit Angkor Wat at sunrise .Our tuk tuk driver was from our hotel who drove us all around the temples . Admission was $20(well overpriced).It was good to see but not as impressive as I thought it would have been , especially with all the restoration work going on !!. After visiting all the surrounding temples you can't help noticing they are just the same .

Booked our bus tickets to Cambodia today from hua lumphong train station at the travel agent,s it only cost 800 baht each =£17. It was easier to book through them as the ticket gets you across the boarder and directly into Siem reap. So there's no need to hassle with taxi drivers and no scamming getting through the border, the bus leaves at 7am and we arrive in Cambodia bout 5 pm . After no breakfast and real rude staff at hotel couldn't wait to get out into town !! After lovely coffee at Starbucks, decided to visit the Grand Palace. However we decided to get the bus as it was only 7 baht = 14p from outside hau lumphong train station (the bust stop was nothing more than a tree lol ) It took over an hour in sweltering heat all across Chinatown . When we arrived it looked amazing and colourful. However once inside it was chaos! And 400 bah...

Have just arrived at my hotel in Chinatown amidst they mayhem of it all. It's a crazy crazy place with the people and smells ( you wouldn't think you was in Thailand !!!! Hotel is small but we get free breakfast , wifi, and even a balcony all for £7 each , and it's right in the heart of it all. And very close to Hua lamphong train station wich is where we need to be Thursday morning to start our trip to Cambodia, thankfully my e-visa came today !!!!!!!!! Well ...

Arrived at the hotel in one piece and went straight to the beach for an hour, then off to get some noodle soup with chicken and fish balls friggin fab! and only 50p at the street stall .
