Well we arrived in Mission Beach with the hope of doing a sky dive (well Aldo and Lee did) however the weather was against us so we had to just have a day of chilling out in the hostel, which to be honest was one of the best we have stayed in. It was more like a big house and felt very homely.

Mission beach is just a tiny little town about 4 hours south of Cairns. Seriously it makes Anstruther look like New York...its just one road, with one bar, one cafe, one ATM etc etc, but we had a really good couple of days here.

After a good night's sleep we were up bright and breezy to go white water rafting on the Tully River, which to be honest is probably one of the most scary things I have ever done but it was amazing!! We attempted to go down this mini waterfall, the only problem was I fell out at the bottom into a whirlpool and almost drowned!! But luckily I have lived to tell the tale but it was pretty scary for a while!!

Again the pictures really tell the whole story plus we have a DVD to bore everyone with when we get home!!
