Welcome to Pirates Backpackers. This was my accomodation for my 5 days in Fremantle. The hostel was quite okay. The rooms were large, the beds fantastic and so the bathrooms. Only the kitchen and the bathroom downstairs were kind of dirty and small. But all in all, the Hostel was a good accomodation through which I received my first job as a housecleaner ;)

This was the shop where I had my first fish and chips :D Christin and I ordered some fish and chips and went to the beach to eat them there with the sea in front of us. It tasted excellent and even the sea gull was happy to get the rest of our fish and chips ;)

The Fremantle Submarine is part of the Oversea museum which is placed next to the submarine. You can even see the submarine when looking through the windows of the inside of the museum. The museum itself was well done and quite informativ. There were lots of boats in it with stories fitting to each of them. To give you an example, there was a huge sailing boat with a person in it. This symbolised the story of a man who sailed an extremely long way from Australia ...

Today, I travelled to Fremantle. This city is located 30 minutes away from perth in the south. I chose the train to get there, because it was the easiest way. Fremantle is such a beautiful little city. I like it more than Perth, mainly because of Fremantles Beach :) It is so wonderful to hear and see the waves and the sea, even if it is just the Swan River ;) . The Sunday, I spent in Kings Park. It was really beautiful to sit in the park with the sunshine fron above and a fantastic view all over Perth City. But for all that I had to climb a huge numbers of steps to get to the park that is located on a little mountain ;) It wa quite hard to get on top of it, but in the end it was absolutely worth to do it. There were even people jogging the steps up and down without a break. For me one time was really enough :D
