Today, I travelled to Fremantle. This city is located 30 minutes away from perth in the south. I chose the train to get there, because it was the easiest way.
Fremantle is such a beautiful little city. I like it more than Perth, mainly because of Fremantles Beach :) It is so wonderful to hear and see the waves and the sea, even if it is just the Swan River ;) . The buildings in Fremantle are quite nice, too. Lots of them are old but well done and my favourite Street is called the "Cappuccino Strip". There are restaurants and cafes on both sides of the street. Especially the " Chocolate House" is offering very good hot chocolates, cappuccinos and chocolat thing to eat.
Besides, Fremantle has a great history to tell. Because of its harbour it played an important role in the second world war. You can find lots o images from the old Fremantle in several locations or even old buildings from former times.
