3/02/10Woke up sweating AGAIN! We decided to head to Surfers Paradise to have a look round the shops and go on the beach. We spent a couple of hours there, the sea was amazing and the waves were massive! We could've stayed in there all day but we had to head off to find somewhere to stay for our last night in the van. We continued for a few more hours and decided to stop the night in a park out of the way. We've travelled 750kms so far, still got a long way to go but at least we've left Victoria and entered New South Wales so we are making progress! 25/01/10Up at 05:30 ouch! Caught the Overland and it was a good 10 hours till we got to Melbourne. The scenery was different to the last train journey, it seems a lot more green and lush here, it reminded me of England at some points. Arrived in Adelaide around 08:00. Got off the train and it was straight for coffee! We had a look on the net to see if we could find somewhere to stay and found a self-contained small apartment for just under £40 per night. It was a 15 min taxi ride away in the suburbs but the place is nice enough.
