Hello! At last! Somewhere in India that we have really enjoyed. Udaipur is beautiful and so much more relaxed than the other parts of India we have been. We arrived by bus at 3.30am rather worse for wear, but at least we managed to get off at the right stop this time! We are staying in a nice, and cheap, hotel overlooking Lake Pichola. Although we havn't done that much here we have just enjoyed the atmosphere of the place and the good natured people of the town....

Hello, We have not had a great day so far... We boarded our sleeper yesterday at 5pm in the pooring rain. Before we had even left the first town the coach had knocked a policeman of his moped!! There was then further delay in the mountains where hundreds of coaches and lorries were trying to pass on very narrow roads. We managed to get a bit of sleep, but not much. Hello, We arrived in Aurangabad on Monday night after a 7 hour train journey from Mumbai. We were pleased to leave the chaotic city! We came here because of the incredible caves nearby. Today we visited Ellora, where the caves are about 1,500 years old. We were brave enough to catch the local bus there which took about 45 minutes and cost about 50p! Hello, We arrived in Mumbai on Thursday at about 3pm. We were immediately hurled into the chaos of the enormous city. We got a taxi from the airport to our hotel which took about 1 and a half hours and cost Rs.450 (which is about £6) although the taxi driver had to keep flagging down other taxi drivers on the "motorway" to ask for directions...
