Tag 4 von Dasburg nach Vianden
Why is there always rain on my last day of a hiking trip? Is it because the trail is crying due to my departure? Or does he want to remain a bad memory, so that I will not come back. Well probably it is just a coincidence.
Anyway, today it was raining again all day.
The forecast said "only up to 1 pm". But that was wrong. At 1 pm it rained even more.
However, often it was more of a drizzle and altogether it was not too bad (I know worse rain by now). The trail was exciting with many ups and downs, steep slopes and great views.
Although, I only hiked 23 km, it was quite challenging in elevation (1132m up and 1326 m down) and quite slippery sometimes.
The sights of the day were the hydroelectric plant with its huge upper and lower reservoirs with an elevation difference of 280 m. The other highlight is Vianden itself, which is a cute little mountain town, with the river Ours, a beautiful castle and a nice vibe.
I realized that they speak luxembourg now, a language, supposed to be related to German (moselfränkisch), but I don't understand a word.

So, die erste Wanderung in diesem Jahr ist beendet. Insgesamt habe ich 110 km von Spa nach Vianden erwandert. Leider diesmal nicht mit Uhr getrackt, da ich selbige zu Hause vergessen habe.
