We left the beach and caught two buses to the town of Perquín, our last stop in El Salvador, high in the mountains. After only 18 hours in La Palma we were standing outside our hotel at 7am to flag the San Salvador bus down. We left Gracias early in the morning, 1st July, and headed the border of El Salvador. This took us 4 hours, via two buses and then finally a taxi to the border.
