Simmons' Memoirs on Australia.

hey, i got into trouble last night because i took the piss out of austrailia to a group of randoms on the street who turned out to be Auzzies so ive been thinking about what it was really like.

herr are my thoughts.

1. they claim they invented the pie (as in meat n potato and steak and kindney and all that) and call it Proper aussie tucker!! argh!!! thats anoying so i ranted about that to most ppl i met there.

2. most ppl seem to work to live rather than living to work. cooler way of living than homes norm.

3. there beer is crap. really bad. fosters is better than most of it. im not kidding!

4. the steriotype of a hard drinking aussie is a lie from the ppl i met but they seem to think its true. then all go to bed after 4-5 scooners.

5. SCOONERS!!! anoying glassed that mean you have to go to the bar 100000 times a night.

6. everyday there was actually amzingly fun. even the day i spent in bed and nearlt passed out on teh way to the veding machine 100m from my room. thooeys extra dry platinum is a killer drink.

7. i loved it.

right. im going up to our 'penthouse' and watching land of the dead. its pretty much like going the bar downstairs exept tehre is a sofa.
