So, day two.
Woke up, went downstairs to something called "Petit Dejeuner". Now apparently, this is breakfast in France. However it did consist of catching a luke warm choix pastry which was lovingly fired at you from a rather angry looking African woman stood in the corner. I left quite quickly.
I made my way down from my hotel to The Notre Dame and had a wander through the building, gazing at the height of the stained glass windows in the transept and attempting to see if I could put a value on the place (Typical Estate Agent). Next I jumped on the RER, short for Really Excellent Railway (for getting mugged on) and got off at Le Tour D'Eiffel!
Now when I went to the Eiffel Tour last time I don't remember s***ting myself. Christ its high, and in a 90kph wind, very dicey up ont top deck. I nearly got blown off (Oooer).
After I changed my boxers for the second time in two days I had a mooch up past the Arc De Triomphe and down along the Champs Élysées to Place De La Concorde and had a hot dog. It may as well have been bloody Manchester. Cheaper mind. I carried on past the FIA and back down through the 1st Arrondissement and back to the hotel for a nap.
I woke up and immediately had one woman on my mind. Lisa. Moaning, frowning Lisa. Therefore I freshened me self up and just as it was getting dark, wandered over to the Louvre. Little did I know it's 10 Euros to get in, however I soon found out its free for under 25s, flashed my ID VERY quickly and wandered around the Louvre aimlessly for a good couple of hours. And you know what? I bloody loved it. Get me... art w***er. (Sorry Mamma x)
On that note I have a train to catch to the Cote d'Azur in the morning.
A bientot!
Si x
