Woke up this morning, geared up for our day at the ruins and had a delicious breakfast with a world class view! Up bright and early this morning! It's time for Tulum :) We packed our last few things, headed for a quick breakfast and walked to the port in time for the 9am ferry! After a windy ride back to Cancun, we negotiated a cheap ish taxi to the ADO bus terminal where we would catch the bus to Tulum... Slept like a rock! First time in ages I have been sleeping absolutely solidly... Apparently it takes months and months to reach this point ;) Chatted to Giugs and ma briefly and then it was time to gear up for breakfast and a day of exploring! We hired a golf cart- the common means of transport here- and headed south where all the "attractions" are... It was crazy to think we were driving a golf cart on an "open road" on the island of Isla Mujeres! Life is good!...

Today we decided to head to Isla Mujeres which is a small island off the coast of Cancun! We woke up in time for breakfast at the hostel - not a whole lot of sleep was had but it's all good! And after packing up our possessions we caught a taxi to Puerto Juarez where we caught the ferry to the island... Guaranteed people are having a good laugh at my big suitcase and gigantic hand luggage!! Haha I am so not suited to travel in Central America but there's not much...
