Still unable to upload photos i'm afraid but the tuk tuk shows you our favourite way of gettting around (and more often than not, the ONLY way to get around - other than squatting in the back of pick-up trucks anyway).

Arrived in Luang Prabang yesterday after a bloody good fun TWO DAY boat trip down the Mekong River from the Thai border to this beautiful town.  Journey entailed a lot of local beer and meeting many people from all over the globe (and a fair few from Blighty).  Hired bycycles today to explore with new friends Kiwis Renee and Aimee and Irish David, took a few hundred steps up to the temples on the hill overlooking the town - stunning views in every direction and sampled some good street food for lunch.  Booked in for a massage in half an hour (2.5 hours of indulgence for 7 quid can't be bad and we are LONG overdue for some luxury).  It'll be Sid's first ever.

Unsure of how long we're staying or whether we're heading north or south from here but either way we'll be enjoying ourselves, no fear there.
