Sarah's Travels
Hello!!
I'm here back in the North Island after an awesome few weeks spent down south. Where to start.......
Wanaka was one of my favourite places, had a ski bummy vibe to it, loved being back in that atmosphere again! And Queenstown....good old queeny!! -Had a mad few days there, spent three days on snow (including one days snowboarding!) and many heavy nights out with random travellers i've met along the way; what could be better?!
Headed down to the most southernest point of NZ after that, took part in more random activities such as sheep shearing and chasing (or rather being chased by) angry sea lions along beaches. The scenery there was incredable- gorgeous coastline with a backdrop of mountains, spot on!
Uhmmm, after a day trip to Milford Sound headed back to queeny for a day then on upto Christchurch. Really liked Christchurch-was completely english but a nice city none the less. Spent a fair bit of time in the city centre, cathedral square, people watching-there was always something going on! I randomly found myself watching religous speakers and enjoyed seeing them being heckled by the ever growing crowd around them!-Ha!
From there it was up to Kaikoura, my one of many highlights from the south island. It had the setting of mountains and coastline, one of the best moments was standing up on the hostel balcony watching the sun set over the mountains, appreciating the moment with all the other travellers.
Ive had an amazing time in NZ, but now im off to Oz!!
Im going down the east cost, I fly into Cairns and fly out of Sydney, cant wait to see it and get some sun!
As of yet I have no plans, which is what i'm excited about, I might get the campervan roadtrip which I was in need of over here, but who knows! Lets see what happens...............xXx
