The journey from Byron Bay to Noosa was longer than we realised. we thought that it would be taking us about 2 / 3 hours but actually it was more like 6 hours. But oh well. The only annoying thing about the day was that before we were able to collect our food from our old hostel they had kindly thrown it in the bin. Mucking up our lunch.

When we arrived in Noosa we had to walk up a hill with our backpacks to the hostel that we got vouchers off from booking our fraser island / whitsundays trip. A really kind swiss man though stopped and insisting on helping us with our bags. Just shows there are still people in the world that will stop and doa nice gesture just because they can. We checked into the hostel ok, it's more basic than the last but it has amuch friendlier vibe. We even managed to make friends with the people in our dorm, something that we found mre difficult than in the last place and it's also not so full of children but instead people more of our own age and older.

After dinner and freshening up, we went and chilled out in the hostels bar with the guys from our hostel and watched a live band. We missed happy hour by just 10mins, but again compared to Byron Bay it really wasn't too bad and the music was really good so we stayed to the end.

The next day we had a full day at the beach. Made a pack lunch so that we didn't have to return to the hostel during the day. As the hostel also had free body board hire after our lunch had settled we gave it a bit of a go. Needless to say we tried our best bit we weren't the best people in the water. But it ws fun anyway.

After dinner in the evening we spent the evening again in the bar as it had such a nice chilled out vibe, we didn't miss happy hour this time. There wasn't any live bands on that night but everyone was still up dancing so the two of us had a good old dance, this time not feeling old : D Unfortunately to save money this was our last night in Noosa. Noosa as a town I'd say is much nicer than Byron Bay, but before our trip to Fraser Island we have two nights free accomodation in Harvey Bay so that's where we are heading tomorrow.
