Back on normal Singapore land, instead of the Island. Last evening in Singapore so I'm off for another wander around the town in a bit (have already had a look around Chinatown - very pretty all lit up and with red lanterns and so on everywhere). Forgot to say earlier that I find it quite fabulous that I can actually reach the overhead hand hold thingies on the MRT trains - yay! I don't have to swing from them like a monkey like I do at home :D

Hi folks!! So, I'm in Singapore and have been since late Friday evening. Plane was late taking off at Heathrow, so instead of arriving at 6:30pm in Singapore, I arrived at 8:30pm!! Something to do with the plane needing de-icing apparently....though they said that only takes about 5 minutes so why we were waiting 2 hours is anybody's guess!
