Zvi Josef's Travels
The flight with Korean air was bitter sweet.
Sweet because Korean Air offers phenomenal service and food, even in economy class.
Bitter - because economy class IS economy class, after all and it was tough getting any sleep.
After arriving to Incheon, Korea at apx. 13:30, we took our luggage, exchanged some local money and took a KAL limo bus to the hotel (90 more minutes!).
Seoul greeted us with pouring rain and apx. 25 degrees.
Upon arrival to the hotel, we were checked-in like Royals, by three managers.
As Platinum Ambassadors we were upgraded to a better room, and as a personal favor of the Public Relation Manager - got Club access, too. :) Not bad for a points stay!
Our room on the 23rd floor is lovely, with a nice view of the river.
After spending some time at the room and in the lounge (eating and relaxing), we went to see the Bongeunsa shrine next to the hotel and stroll through the huge COEX mall.
We then went to buy some snacks at a 7/11, saw the hotel's amazing pool, gym and spa - and headed to the lounge for some drinks.
Not bad for half a day in Seoul, I'd say. :)
