We started the day with fixing a flat tire in Selfoss for a fortune. We then drove to Seljalandsfoss waterfall, which was a pitstop for The Amazing Race. It was indeed amazing. We then continued to the famous Eyjafjallajokul volcano and had a three hour glacier walk in pouring rain at Solheimajokulsvegur. We then returned to stunning Skogafoss. We then proceeded to Dyrholaey beach and Vik. We ended the day with a drive to our hotel in Kirkjubaejarklaustur. What a...

After a good night sleep we started the day with driving to a nice fjord near Glymur. We then went to Thingvelir, where we had a flat tire, then the amazing Gullfoss falls, Geysir thermo area and the beautiful Kerid crater. We then arrived to Selfoss fr a dinner a x a good night sleep. Tomorrow we are off to the glacier. :)

NOTHING could've prepared us for the stunning view when we opened the curtains in the morning - great snow-topped mountains, the bay of Reykjavik and an island in the middle. Absolutely great. After a nice breakfast, we went to the nearby Hilton hotel to by the Reykjavik welcome card and to a nearby Nova store to get a sim card. We then took a bus to the city and started exploring it - the Harpa hall, the old harbour and the Maritime museum, the volcano house and...

We had a very early start at 1:45 at night. Went to the airport and had a VERY poorly maintained flight with SAS to Copenhagen. Spend the entire day in Copenhagen, visiting the botanical gardens, the town hall, Rosenbrog castle, the cathedral and enjoying this lovely city. At around 20:00 we took a lovely (yet VERY bumpy) Icelandair flight to Keflavik, arrived to the empty airport and took the bus to our hotel. After being awake for more than 24 hours, it's time ...

Our adventure is getting REALLY close now, and we are almost fully packed and ready to go. :) Hoping for some good weather, good health, meeting friends in Reykjavik and enjoying this beautiful island. :)
