After lounging at the airport for a while, we took a dreadful, dreadful redeye flight to Ukraine's 2nd largest city. The flight was truly horrible, thanks to Ukraine Airlines dreadful service and hard product. Truly pathetic. We landed in Kharkiv, had to collect our luggage and check it in again (although being on the same PNR). Go figure. After some 2 hours, we were on our next flight to Kiev.

i managed to (hopefully) find a decent transfer from the airport to the hotel for the four of us. Yay! :)

I was able to get 4 tickets (at decent places) for the famous "Lords of the Sound" concert which is basically a full philharmonic orchestra playing famous Oscar winning movies' themes. Yes!!! :)

I managed to get semi decent tickets for the flight to Kiev, via Kharkiv (with a direct return from Kiev). The first flights would be red eyes flights, but we hope to be able to enjoy the following day despite being tired. :)

I've asked my parents if they would like to join us for our short vacation in Kiev, and they said yes, so I immediately booked another room for them, again - using points.
