15:00 update. Well, a new day has risen over Beijing and we're staying in today - relaxing due to some strained muscles. Had breakfast (ordinary, not as special as we hoped it'd be), got back to bed for 2 hours, and currently in the executive lounge, Interneting, drinking and relaxing. Later on, we'll go to the nearest supermarket, cafe and pool. We were supposed to go to the Summer Palace today, but since Ami can hardly walk, we gave it up. More to come later. :...

First update - 11:00. Last night, we wandered into the hugest supermarket EVER. It is located in a big mall by our hotel. A lot of local residents were so intrigued by our Western look and constantly smiled at us, laughed and followed us around. We literally felt like celebs. :) We had dinner at one of the hotel 4-5 restaurants and paid very little (100 Yuan, which roughly amount to 13US$). Then came the night, which was a nightmare... . After a nine hour flight we landed into what feels like 40 degrees with 80 percent humidity. Nice... . Took us over 2 hours to get to the hotel: Shuttle bus from Capital airpot to Xidan - 1.5 hours (traffic.........). Underground - 9 stations on line 1 (Baboshan station). It's always fun to start packing early. This way, there's less chance of forgetting something important. July 28th, 2010 16:00 Well, we're almost ready - all packed up and ready to go. Going to catch a train to the airport in 2.5 hours, have a quick check-in (hopefully), do some duty-free shopping and head for the Dan lounge for some pre-flight relaxation. :) A bit excited, I must admit, but nothing major. :) Updates, soon. xx
