WOW - what an incredible time we've had here in the Maldives. It's as if all the yuckyness that stuck on us in India was washed away by this truly unreal place.
We started the day with a breakfast with Brad, a friend we made here, later went for a short skinny dipping and checkedd out, not before meeting up with another couple - Roi and Phillip, resort regulars (they've been here 7 times already!), who gave us a farewell party - literally. :)
The flight from Rangali to Male was hot but the views were amazing.
When we reached the airport, some airline people were rushing us as if we're late - which we weren't. It's just that the flight from Male to Bangalore had so few people in it (apx. 10), so they decided to fly 30 minutes BEFORE schedule.
We ran like mad men to catch the flight, which we did.
We landed in Bangalore 3 hour before our next flight and spend the time at the airport - buying stuff and resting. It sure was NOT nice coming back to India.
We then took the flight from Bangalore to Mumbai, which landed in the domestic airport, but we were to catch our last flight home from the international airport.
It took those useless ***** at the airport over an hour to take us to the international airport, despite us telling them they will make us miss our flight. Then those idiots wanted some bribe! Hell india!!!
We barely made it to our final flight to Tel Aviv and boarded the flight a minute or two before the plane's doors were closed.
Talk about a close call! :)
