Well, this is a first - both Ami and myself are rather sick just prior to starting our trip. We both have a viral infection in our throats, which should clear out in a couple of days. Still, we're rather nervous as we want to be able to enjoy Budapest to the fullest. Let's hope we get better tomorrow. :) While we're trying to rest, we're getting things ready and we are nearly all packed. :)

Well, we're one week before our planned trip and getting ready to it every day. I'm already brushing my bruised-up Hungarian. We got a cool new camera (which we got for free - yay!), flights and hotel already booked, itinerary planned ahead and a lot of other stuff. Unfortunately, Ami got a severe case of infection in his throat and we hope it heals in a day or two, and that I won't catch anything... . More to come - later this week. :)

After 25000 km, 10 cities and endless adventures - we're back home after a 10.5 hour flight from Beijing to Tel Aviv. :) The flight itself was delayed - we were supposed to fly 21 hours earlier, but El Al could not fill up the plane, so they cancelled the flight entirely. They ended up flying us 21 hours later, only to discover we have to taxi at the airport for almost an hour. Ouch! Oh, btw, regardless to what you may think - despite the fact that Beijing is a h...

Finally, the day has come! :) Eventhough I managed to catch a cold yesterday, I feel much better now and cannot wait to start our adventure in China. What are our plans? Finish up packing, getting ourselves ready, take a cab to the train station and from there head for the airport, security check, check in, passport control, duty free, lounge and then a 9.5 hour flight to Beijing. WOW!!! Who would've thought we could plan and pull off a trip like this in less than a month. After some hectic moment with the airline company, numerous hotel room upgrades (thank you, Accor!!!) and a lot of Chinese practicing - we're almost ready for the trip. :)
